The Pellets Barn Owl Pellet is a pack of 20 sterilized and individually wrapped owl pellets. Each pellet is small but contains lots of bones, often with 2-3 skulls. It is suitable for classroom use and can be dissected by groups of 2-3 students. The pellets are collected near the owls' roosts on private and rural land and are shipped domestically. Although the official shelf life is unknown, previous customers have dissected pellets a year after purchasing with no issues. In terms of customer reviews, most customers were satisfied with their purchase, with one stating it was a "great end of the year project for active 6th graders." However, there were some complaints about the heat treatment process, as some pellets contained maggots. Additionally, some customers were disappointed with the incomplete skeletons or random bones found in some pellets. Nonetheless, customers enjoyed the abundance of bones, with one stating that "there was a skull in every pellet."
