These customers have expressed satisfaction with the product, noting that once installed, the alternator has operated smoothly without issues. However, the product has faced significant criticism from others who encountered severe malfunctions. One particularly concerning account involved a user whose vehicle experienced an output voltage of 18 to 20 volts after installation, leading to serious damage that necessitated costly repairs to the mass airflow sensor and a full tune-up. This individual criticized the apparent lack of quality control from the manufacturer, claiming it could potentially lead to disastrous outcomes for vehicles. Efforts to reach customer service to resolve the issue went unanswered, adding to the frustration.
