Thrustmaster Racing Wheels 2969103 Editorial Review
The Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer 488 Challenge Edition is a PC-only package that includes only the TS-PC Racer force feedback base and the exclusive Ferrari 488 Challenge Edition wheel. Customers must use a pedalset like the T3PM or the T-LCM, which must also be purchased separately. The wheel is compatible with Add-on wheels of Thrustmaster's ecosystem like the Ferrari SF1000 wheel. Some customers have reported issues with the wheel, such as difficulty reaching the buttons while using a shifter and compatibility issues with some games. Others encountered hardware issues, including missing screws and paddle problems. However, most customers praised the wheel's handling, EZ-use, and great features, adding that it feels like a real car. The editorial review concludes that the Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer 488 Challenge Edition is a good option for sim racing, provided that customers are aware of its compatibility limitations and hardware concerns.
