Thanks to an exclusive core sizing, each sheet offers astounding absorbency, as the ph-neutral internal & external fibers hold pigment in place without over-saturation. The heavyweight surface withstands multiple layers of paint with minimal warping & is suitable for water-based mediums such as ink, gouache & acrylic painting. Available as cold press, hot press & rough for different textures: choosing the right surface can impact the success of your piece just as much as skill level & paint quality. Rough: similar to the cold press technique but adjusted to feature a more intense, irregular texture that allows pigment to settle in unique ways for strikingly spontaneous, impressionist paintings.
