The Klein Tools 63225 Cable Cutter is a compact and strong high leverage cutter for aluminum, copper, and communication cable. It can cut through #12 AWG, 3/8ths BX cable, and RJ6 coaxial cables cleanly. However, it does not cut anything with steel, including copper-coated steel wires, which can damage the cutters. While it can be operated with one hand for smaller cables with very few conductors, it requires two hands to cut 10-3 and larger cables, and the handles open up wide. Despite this, it is a durable and top-quality tool that is particularly useful in wiring panels or cabinets with smaller gauge wire.
