WEN Pole Saws 4019 Editorial Review
The WEN Pole Saw has received a mixed reception from customers, with many praising its performance and power while others express concerns regarding its weight and misleading product specifications. Several users have noted that the saw operates effectively, making clean cuts through various types of wood, including stubborn branches and small trees. The convenient chain adjuster is highlighted as a particularly useful feature, allowing for straightforward chain tensioning. Users mention that the saw feels durable and reliable, withstanding heavy use without significant wear. The product is often viewed as a great value for its price, with some customers suggesting it has more than paid for itself in savings compared to hiring professional arborists. However, customer experiences aren’t universally positive. Some users criticize the saw's weight, describing it as heavy and somewhat awkward to maneuver. Additionally, there are complaints about its reach; the advertised 14-foot length is misleading, as some customers have found it barely meets 9 feet, leading to frustration. Furthermore, the lack of included bar oil has been flagged as an inconvenience, as users must purchase it separately. A few customers had significant issues with chain tension, reporting that it would frequently come loose, resulting in interruptions during use. In summary, while the WEN Pole Saw is celebrated for its cutting power and durability, potential buyers should be mindful of its weight, reach discrepancies, and chain tensioning issues. **
