Sirui Tripod Heads G-10X Editorial Review
The Sirui G-10X G Series Ball Head is a top-notch quality tripod head with a load capacity of 18 kg, has a quick release with Arca-style plate, two spirit levels, tension control, and separate panning lock. The head can rotate 360 degrees and tilt 90 degrees and has a female camera mount thread size of 1/4"-20". The base diameter is 1.65 inches, and the height is 3.5 inches. The ball head comes with a plate and is compatible with Arca-Swiss. There are no plate pins, but it has friction pads that prevent slipping. It has a 1/4X20 screw on the top of the mounting plate and a 3/8 socket in the bottom of the ball head where it attaches to a tripod. Customers have praised the tripod head for being lightweight, compact, and well-made, with smooth operation. It is well matched to travel tripods and spotter scopes. It is also a great option for those looking for pro head features at a lower cost. The maximum load rating of 18 kg is questionable as some users have reported issues with it struggling to hold heavy setups. However, for lighter loads, this ball head handles like a champ.
