ChiaoGoo Knitting Needles CG7230-S Editorial Review
The ChiaoGoo Shorties is a set of small-size knitting needles that are praised for being compatible with other ChiaoGoo small-size/long needles, interchangeable with red cables, and easy to use for hat and sleeve knitting. The blue X-flex cables, which come in the set, are found to be very satisfactory, and the needles are ideal for top-down baby sweaters as they eliminate the issue of extra cable fiddling. The set does not include 9-13 needle sizes or 5.5, 6mm shorties tip, but Chiaogoo offers separate 3" tips for purchase (7503-2,3 series). In terms of customer reception, the set is overwhelmingly positively reviewed, with customers stating that they love the set for knitting sweater sleeves and socks, among other projects. However, one criticism is that the included case does not keep needles secure and is not of better quality given the price.
