These tuners have received positive feedback with customers saying that they work much better and are smoother than other tuners they have used. They are used on many Martin guitars and are the best bang for the buck. They were a great upgrade for stock tuners on a number of guitars. However, some customers have experienced difficulties with installation, finding that bushings don't thread onto the post and advising care when enlarging bushing holes. Some customers also found that the ones with the nickel gear were discontinued due to a substantial difference in quality compared to ones with brass gear. Additionally, the company has advised customers to measure before buying.
