About This Item
Upgrade your rotary cutter with the Omni Gear Rotary Cutter 60 hp Gear Box. This replacement gearbox is an affordable alternative to rebuilding, offering a low price for a high-quality product. Designed with a 1:1.47 Speed Up gear ratio, this gearbox is perfect for use on rotary cutters with a diameter of 5' and larger. It features an industry-standard 1-3/8 six (6) spline input shaft, allowing for compatibility with slip clutches.
The 2" diameter 15 tapered spline output shaft ensures a secure fitment on most light, standard, and medium-duty rotary cutters. Built to last, this gearbox is equipped with high-speed bearing units and heat-treated gears and shafts, ensuring long-term durability. The four-bolt mounting matches industry standards, making installation a breeze. Additionally, each gearbox includes a blade carrier mounting nut and cotter pin. To ensure optimal performance, this gearbox is shipped dry and requires 80-90W gear lube or equivalent.
It is a standard replacement gearbox for the OEM box and features upgraded tapered roller bearing output for improved strength and longevity. Compatible with various models, this gearbox was used by World Agritech and IMC, The International Line on their IM502, IM602, and Super 8 series of Rotary Cutters. The Omni Gear Rotary Cutter 60 hp Gear Box is a scarce and old model, difficult to find and purchase. It requires some modification to install it into a Bush Hog SQ600. The 40hp gearbox model is generally sufficient for most 5' applications. The stump jumper may need a hub, but it's not difficult. The gearbox comes with a 15-spline hub included. Different gear ratio models are also available. However, the gearbox will not fit a 268 Bush Hog cutter or a JD 413. It is essential to check the input shaft and output shaft requirements before purchasing the product.
