The track is perfectly straight, accurate, and square, thanks to its high-quality anodized aluminum extrusion design. It has a height of 2 3/16 inches and a length of 29/32 inches, making it ideal for use with the Kreg stop blocks. It also features two recesses for two tape measures, allowing you to easily make precise cuts. While the rail is designed primarily for use as a fence for Kreg's band saw fence and precision miter gauge system, it also works perfectly for stiffening a table saw sled or creating a miter sled fence. However, it can't be cut through to form a zero clearance blade slot, so you'll have to find another way to support the cut exit if you use it in this manner. While there is no kit available to attach two of these tracks together for longer usage, the track stands on its own as a high-quality and functional woodworking tool.
