Action & Adventure Fiction Editorial Review
**** With "With This Ring: A MM Mafia Arranged Marriage Novel," R.S. McKenzie delivers a compelling tale that weaves passion, conflict, and familial loyalty within the gritty backdrop of mafia drama. Readers have been enveloped in the story from start to finish, finding themselves unable to put it down. The characters, particularly the two protagonists Carter and Kaison, are noted for their striking chemistry, evolving from adversaries to lovers in a thrilling "enemies to lovers" narrative that resonates with fans of the trope. The book’s pacing builds anticipation remarkably, with moments of laughter, tension, and genuine emotional depth—though this ride isn't just smooth sailing. However, not all feedback is entirely positive. While many praise the character development and the intricate plot, some find fault in specific scenes, particularly regarding character decisions that appear uncharacteristic or unnecessary, such as moments of infidelity that detract from the established dynamics of the protagonists. InConsistent editing has also been highlighted, with instances of grammatical missteps and awkward phrasing noted by readers who have high standards for Prose. Overall, McKenzie has crafted a thrilling narrative that successfully delivers intense romance and mafia intrigue, drawing readers into a world where love and danger coalesce. Accompanied by supportive secondary characters, the novel opens a tantalizing door to future installments that fans are already eagerly anticipating. **
