The RAPTOR Etch Primer 1K Aerosol UP5023 13.2 Oz is a good primer with great adhesion to the surface. It is meant for bare metal adhesion for the raptor coating but can also be used on plastic and electroplated metal surfaces as long as they are kept clean from grease and dirt. The product is said to spray well, works great and provides full coverage. However, the nozzle clogs easily which can result in the paint not spraying flat and wastage of paint. The cans do not always cover the amount they are supposed to and customers have reported issues with the cans spitting and leaking. Some users recommend light sanding of the surface before application for best results. The primer is on the expensive side and some customers suggest that a cheaper alternative of etch primers can also work as effectively.
