The Rolls MX422 is designed with four low-noise microphone preamps, enabling high-quality audio input from multiple sources. It includes a headphone output for real-time monitoring and offers individual channel controls for adjusting gain levels, ensuring optimal sound tailoring. These features make it well-suited for mobile recording, film production, and live sound applications, providing flexibility and professional-grade quality in various environments.

How does the Rolls MX422 compare to other field mixers?

What type of batteries does the Rolls MX422 use?

The Rolls MX422 operates on 9V batteries, supporting up to 20 hours of continuous use, making it ideal for extended recording sessions in the field. This battery-operated feature ensures that you can capture sound without being tethered to a power source, which is especially useful in outdoor settings or areas where power outlets are not available.

Can I use the Rolls MX422 with different microphones?

Absolutely! The Rolls MX422 works effectively with dynamic, condenser, and lavalier microphones. This versatility allows you to choose the best microphone for your specific application, whether that's podcasting, field interviews, or sound design for film. It’s important to check compatibility regarding powering requirements, especially for condenser mics that need phantom power.

What audio outputs does the Rolls MX422 provide?
