It contains "improved hydrogen peroxide" which is basically hydrogen peroxide in a solution with an "activator" surfactant. The benzyl alcohol in the solution stabilizes the H2O2 to 1.4% in solution which enables the product to disinfect and sanitize surfaces much faster than the standard H2O2. The product comes in a 32-ounce bottle and is safe to use on carpets and other surfaces too. Customers have found this product very effective in killing germs and stopping the chain of transmission. Others have used it for cleaning and disinfecting carpets and other surfaces, with great results. Some reviews suggest that the product is not as effective as claimed, and that it may have been diluted by at least 50%. However, this does not seem to be a widespread problem.
