The Fender Pugilist Distortion Pedal is a versatile and reliable distortion pedal choice for guitarists. It is built ruggedly and has quiet switching. The pedal offers plenty of gain and headroom to keep up with loud tube amps. The dual gains create a lot of feedback; however, the bass boost feature is great. The pedal works well with all amp and guitar combinations. The distortion is fantastic, and you can run two distortion sounds at the same time, blend mix, and get multiple tones with the pedal. The input connector seems to be the only weak spot, as it may stop working over time and leave the player questioning their entire rig.
