- Fast response speed: Solid state relays have a very fast response speed, usually in milliseconds, far higher than ordinary relays. Correspondingly, it has stronger switching ability and is easier to achieve high-frequency and high-speed on-off operations.
- Long lifespan: Solid state relays have no mechanical contacts inside and are fully electronic control devices, so their lifespan is extremely long and they will not fail due to mechanical wear and tear.
- Small size: Solid state relays are usually designed in a modular manner, with a very small volume that can be easily installed in any space constrained environment without affecting the overall aesthetics of the device.
- Low noise and energy consumption: Due to the lack of mechanical cutting contacts in solid-state relays, there will be no impact noise when they are turned on. The electromagnet of ordinary relays requires a high amount of electrical energy, but the electronic components of solid-state relays consume very little current, thus greatly reducing energy consumption.
