アブス(ABUS) Chain Locks 5700/80 Editorial Review
The ABUS UGRIP BORDO 5700 is a robust and reliable bicycle lock that has received generally positive feedback from customers. Users appreciate its sturdy build and the peace of mind that comes with ABUS's theft insurance policy, which offers a significant payout in the unfortunate event of a theft. Many reviewers recognize the heavy weight of the lock and note that while it is compact and easy to transport, its heft can be cumbersome, particularly when mounted on bike frames. Customers have pointed out that the lock may not provide the same level of flexibility as chain locks, making it slightly challenging to secure bikes in various positions. However, the security features of the UGRIP BORDO 5700 seemingly outweigh these inconveniences for most users. The presence of mounting options and the lock’s design has garnered a decent amount of appreciation, although installation can vary depending on the bike frame model. The visual appeal of the lock was also a highlight, with users noting its bulky design as providing a distinct, solid presence on the bicycle. The added choice between different mounting options caters well to user preferences, enhancing usability. While there are minor drawbacks such as weight and installation challenges, the overall Consensus is that the ABUS UGRIP BORDO 5700 is a highly effective bicycle lock that offers exceptional security for users who value safety over weight. **
