Box Sets 5036193099984 Editorial Review
Tenko - The Complete Series [DVD] is a landmark television show that captivates audiences with its gripping portrayal of life in internment camps during World War II, focusing on a predominantly female cast. The series spans the plight of women from the fall of Singapore to their eventual rehabilitation, showcasing severe conditions and deep character development. Viewers appreciate the excellent performances, particularly those of Stephanie Cole and Veronica Roberts, who bring to life the emotional and physical challenges faced by their characters. Despite some dated cinematography and dialogue-heavy scenes, the depth of storytelling and character arcs keep audiences engaged and invested in their journeys, making it a timeless series.
