Box Sets Editorial Review
Twelve Monkeys The Complete Series masterfully weaves a gripping narrative involving a viral outbreak that wipes out humanity. A man from a dystopian future uses precarious time travel to pinpoint and eradicate the outbreak's origin, hoping to avert the impending doom. The series spans four seasons filled with unexpected plot twists and richly developed characters, showcasing remarkable performances from actors like Aaron Stanford and Amanda Schull. While the first two seasons are engaging, the latter seasons elevate the tension with deeper storylines and more complex dangers. The visuals are stunning, presented in high definition on Blu-ray, ensuring an immersive viewing experience for fans of dark, post-apocalyptic themes.
