- This book goes through an 11 point match from the 2025 Los Angeles Open undefeated round of 8 between Michihito “Michy” Kageyama and Masayuki “Mochy” Mochizuki, two Japanese Grandmasters and top rated players for many years. Similar to Backgammon Online Match: USBGF vs Litzenberger, the idea is to go through the entire match and include educational content geared towards players of all levels. Instead of a textbook style, the learning is through reading about a match that was played. With each move, different strategies become important. You will learn how to analyze positions by identifying patterns, but also how to use tools in eXtreme Gammon (XG), the strongest backgammon software, to improve.
