The BobWire DAT1 is a device that allows for the triggering of up to three devices by using an optical audio input and producing a 12V DC trigger output. The device will power up when it detects a signal from the IOS connected device and will power off when the signal is switched off. The device works well with Chromecast, Amazon Echo Link, SONOS Connect, and anything with an Optical Audio Out. It accepts Dolby Digital and DTS audio formats up to 5.1 channel and keeps them unchanged. It does require digital optical input for audio signals to control it. Customers seem to be highly satisfied with this device, citing its ease of use and effectiveness. It is a great option for those who prefer to power on devices automatically when there is a signal from the IOS connected device.
