This editorial review is of the Pokemon game Alpha Sapphire for the 2DS, 3DS, 3DS XL and the New 3DS XL. Based on customer feedback, the game is appropriate for all ages with a reading level that may be challenging for younger children. The game has different Pokemon in each edition, with Primal Kyogre in Alpha Sapphire and Primal Groudon in Omega Ruby. The game is not compatible with the original DS or the DS Lite. There are six or seven language options to choose from at the beginning of the game. Unfortunately, character customization is not an option in this game. While there is no Battle Frontier, there is an island containing the Battle Maison from X/Y and some facilities making it easier to raise competitive Pokemon.
