Answer: Yes, a Shure 55 fits easily in the case. The felt-style interior protects the mic from scratches, but the case is not rigid and will not protect the mic if it were dropped or if something heavy were thrown on it. -

Answer: It looks like it can. The only thing that might be trouble would be the round base of the mic but looks like the body will fit right in. Plus, this case has a soft foam inside with a velcro pouch for cables or accessories. -
