This refractory brick kiln shelf is a reliable and stable product for use in firing ceramics in kilns. The ceramic tile designed with vermiculite is rated for up to 2600 degrees Fahrenheit which makes it suitable for even the highest temperature firings such as Cone 10 (2380F). It is a perfect size for small projects such as frit wafers and fits well in project kilns. It can be trimmed to a smaller size with a tile cutter or a masonry blade. However, it's not suitable for clay. The only downside is that the product arrived with one round corner and three sharp corners which some customers feel reduces its quality. Nonetheless, it works great overall.
