Does the lnb contain an adaptor to mount onto the satellite dish arm?

No, it does not come with an adaptor, only the LNB.

Please can you tell me if the signal amplification of this high gain lnb is around 70dB?

The advertised gain is 55-62dB, please Google it for more information.

What current is drawn from the coax?

The DC supply is between 11 and 15 volts. The current drawn may vary from one make of LNB to another. Check the voltage with a voltmeter to diagnose any issues.

Is there a weatherproof shield over the connectors?

A weatherproof 'boot' is supplied which slips over the connector to provide protection.

Will this work with Freesat on my Sony TV with YouView and Freesat built in?

Yes, it should work fine with both a Humax Freesat box and a Sky box.

Hello, I have Sky Q with 1 main & 3 mini boxes. I want to connect 2 more old style HD receivers. Will this work and will I need anything else?

If you treat the quad LNB as 4 separate LNBs, you can serve 4 satellite decoder boxes to serve 4 separate TVs. However, I am not an expert in Sky boxes, so there might be more complex solutions.

What color is this? Is it black or yellow? Do you have the black color?

The feed cap is yellow and the casing is black with gold-colored connectors.

Is this a PLL (Phased Locked Loop) LNB?

Yes, it is a PLL unit and uses an internal 25MHz reference crystal.

Using a twin tm-2 (as a 2nd LNB) + tm-2s diseqc with a tm-5402 box, but getting LNBF code whenever I connect the second LNB, what is likely the fault?

Please provide more information about where you are connecting the second output and what satellite you are using to receive.
